Fried Chicken with Kucai Sambal

Ingredients

  • 5 pieces braised chicken
  • 1 bunch kucai
  • 4 red chilies
  • 5 bird's eye chilies
  • 1 teaspoon shrimp paste
  • 5-7 tablespoons water
  • salt
  • sugar

Preparation

  1. Fry the braised chicken until golden brown, lift and drain.

  2. Pound red chilies, bird's eye chilies, shrimp paste, and kucai coarsely.

  3. Sauté the pounded sambal until fragrant, add 5-7 tablespoons water, salt, and sugar. If water reduces, adjust taste then add fried chicken, stir well, lift and serve.
