Spicy Fried Fish Balado
Ingredients
- Fish
- Garlic
- Salt
- Royco powder
- Onions
- Tomato
- Curly red chili
- Lime or vinegar
- Broth powder
Preparation
Clean the fish.
Boil the fish with garlic, salt, and Royco powder until almost cooked, but not too long to avoid breaking.
Drain the fish and fry it until partially cooked, not too dry.
Sauté the balado spices: onions, tomato, curly red chili, and salt.
Add lime or vinegar and a little broth powder to the sautéed spices.
Mix the sauce with the fried fish and heat through before serving.
Tips
If not consuming immediately, do not fry the fish until very dry to prevent it from becoming tough.
Adjust the dryness based on preference or when you plan to eat.
