Quick Creamy Homemade Oatmeal Porridge Breakfast
Ingredients
- 400 g milk (or milk alternative)
- 1 pinch ground cinnamon
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tbsp agave syrup (or honey or maple syrup)
- 80 g rolled oats
Garnish
- ground cinnamon, for sprinkling
Preparation
Warm the milk with cinnamon and salt in a pot
Stir in the agave syrup and rolled oats
Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 3 minutes, stirring occasionally
Remove from the heat and let rest for 10 minutes
Divide the oatmeal between two 300 ml bowls
Sprinkle with cinnamon if desired and serve immediately
