Quick Creamy Homemade Oatmeal Porridge Breakfast

Ingredients

  • 400 g milk (or milk alternative)
  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tbsp agave syrup (or honey or maple syrup)
  • 80 g rolled oats

Garnish

  • ground cinnamon, for sprinkling

Preparation

  1. Warm the milk with cinnamon and salt in a pot

  2. Stir in the agave syrup and rolled oats

  3. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 3 minutes, stirring occasionally

  4. Remove from the heat and let rest for 10 minutes

  5. Divide the oatmeal between two 300 ml bowls

  6. Sprinkle with cinnamon if desired and serve immediately
