Crispy Puffy Cheese Sticks
Ingredients
- 1 tea glass milk
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup grated kasar cheese
- 1 tea glass white cheese
- 8-10 sprigs parsley
- 1 packet baking powder
- 2.5 cups flour
For frying
- 1 tea glass vegetable oil
Preparation
Mix milk, egg, and salt in a suitable mixing bowl.
Add grated kasar cheese, white cheese, parsley, baking powder, and flour, and mix.
After mixing a bit, knead the dough by hand until it is soft and not sticky.
Place a piece of parchment paper on the counter.
Place the dough in the center, press it slightly with your hand, cover with another parchment paper, and roll out with a rolling pin to half a centimeter thick.
Cut the dough into thin long strips using a pizza cutter.
Set aside the side pieces and cut the remaining strips into three equal parts.
Cut the set-aside pieces to the same size as the others.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the stick fritters carefully until golden on both sides.
Remove the fried sticks to a paper towel-lined plate and serve.
