Overnight Oats with Maple Cinnamon Peaches
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 tbsp chia seeds or ground flax seeds
- 1 tsp sweetener of your choice or 1 mashed medjool date
- Pinch of cardamom
- Pinch of cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup unsweetened plant milk (I used almond milk)
- Cooked Peaches
- 1 peach, sliced thin
- 2 tsp maple syrup
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of cinnamon
Preparation
Combine all ingredients together and set overnight in the fridge
You can leave it in a bowl, place in Tupperware container or do whatever fancy thing you like to do with your oats
Add peaches to a saucepan and cook on low medium heat for about 3 minutes
Add maple syrup, cinnamon and salt and begin to stir and coat peaches with mixture
Stir and cook for about 3 more minutes or until peaches have softened
Remove from heat and serve overtop oats
