Nutritious Creamy Oatmeal for Busy Mornings
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup fine oats
- 1 tbsp almond flour
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of Himalayan salt
Preparation
In the evening, add all ingredients to a saucepan and cook on gentle heat until thick and creamy.
Prepare a small bowl with a smooth surface by passing the inside under cold water to prevent sticking. Transfer the cooked oatmeal to the bowl, use a spoon to make the surface even, let it cool, then put it in the fridge overnight.
In the morning, gently run a knife around the edges, turn the bowl upside down over a plate, add desired toppings like nuts or berries, and enjoy.
