Cinnamon Cardamom Oats

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup quick oats
  • 1 tbsp ground flax seeds
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • pinch cardamom
  • pinch salt
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • optional: mix mashed banana or sweetener of preference to sweeten things up

Preparation

  1. Add all ingredients to a sauce pan and bring to a simmer

  2. Allow to cook and thicken for 3 minutes and pour into bowl to serve

  3. Special toppings for this bowl include kiwi, blueberries, pepitas, hemp seeds and unsweetened shredded coconut flakes
