Maca Oats Breakfast Bowl with Fruits and Nuts
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1/2 ripe banana
- 1 tsp maca powder
- 1 tbsp flax meal
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- a pinch of salt
- optional sweetener
Toppings
- blood oranges
- banana
- berries
- pomegranate
- cacao nibs
Preparation
Add all dry ingredients to a saucepan and stir to mix evenly.
Add the liquid and banana, then bring to medium heat to cook.
Stir as the oats begin to thicken, which takes about 5-7 minutes, then remove from heat.
Allow the oats to sit and thicken further as they cool.
Top the oats with desired fruits and enjoy.
