Coconut Oatmeal with Almond Milk and Flax

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup quick steel cut oats or 1/2 cup regular rolled oats
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tbsp ground flax seed
  • 1 tbsp shredded coconut flakes
  • Pinch cinnamon
  • Pinch salt
  • Optional: sliced banana

Preparation

  1. Add all ingredients to a saucepan and bring to a simmer.

  2. Cook for at least 3-5 minutes or until thickened as desired.

  3. Serve with your favorite toppings.
