No Sugar Atta Laddoo

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup ghee
  • Some chopped cashews
  • Some chopped almonds
  • Some chopped pistachios
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 10 to 12 raisins
  • 1/2 cup jaggery powder
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder

Preparation

  1. Heat a pan, add ghee, cashews, almonds, and pistachios, and fry for 10 to 15 seconds.

  2. Then add whole wheat flour and roast until it turns golden brown.

  3. Transfer to a bowl, add raisins, jaggery powder, and cardamom powder, mix well, and let it cool slightly.

  4. Grease your palms with ghee.

  5. Take portions of the mixture and shape them into rounds to form laddoos.

  6. Coat the laddoos in chopped almonds and pistachios.

Notes

  1. This recipe uses jaggery instead of sugar for a healthier alternative.

  2. It is ideal for offering during Ganesh Chaturthi as a festive treat.
