Stir-Fried Okra with Garlic and Shallots

Ingredients

  • 12 okra pods
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 3 shallots
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • Sugar to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Chicken stock powder to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Wash the okra thoroughly before cutting to avoid needing to wash it again after cutting, which could remove the beneficial slime.

  2. Stir-fry the garlic, shallots, and chili until fragrant, then add the cut okra.

  3. Add salt, sugar, chicken stock powder, black pepper, and soy sauce, then stir-fry until the seasonings are absorbed and immediately remove from heat.

  4. Serve.
