Stir-Fried Okra with Garlic and Shallots
Ingredients
- 12 okra pods
- 3 garlic cloves
- 3 shallots
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- Sugar to taste
- Salt to taste
- Chicken stock powder to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Preparation
Wash the okra thoroughly before cutting to avoid needing to wash it again after cutting, which could remove the beneficial slime.
Stir-fry the garlic, shallots, and chili until fragrant, then add the cut okra.
Add salt, sugar, chicken stock powder, black pepper, and soy sauce, then stir-fry until the seasonings are absorbed and immediately remove from heat.
Serve.
