Stir-Fried Spinach and Shrimp
Ingredients
- 1 package mixed green and red spinach
- 10 peeled shrimp
- 2 smashed garlic cloves
- 2 thinly sliced shallots
- 1/4 onion, cut lengthwise
- 3 red curly chilies, sliced diagonally
- 3 red bird's eye chilies, sliced diagonally
- 1/2 glass water
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- Oil as needed
Preparation
Heat oil in a pan, add garlic and shallots, and cook until browned. Then add chilies, onion, and shrimp, and stir until the shrimp changes color.
Add spinach and stir-fry until wilted. Then add water and oyster sauce, and let it cook until the water reduces.
After the water reduces, remove from heat.
The stir-fried spinach and shrimp is ready to serve.
Tips
Spinach contains purin, which can affect uric acid levels, but it's safer for those with high uric acid if limited to 100 grams per day.
Consuming spinach from vegetables is easier for the body to handle compared to animal products.
