Yeast-Free Turkish Pastry
Ingredients
- 125 grams margarine
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup yogurt
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 packet baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 6 cups flour
Filling
- Cheese
- Parsley
- Red pepper flakes
Topping
- Egg yolk
- Sesame seeds
- Nigella seeds
Preparation
In a bowl, mix room temperature margarine, vegetable oil, yogurt, egg, and salt until well combined.
Add baking powder and baking soda.
Gradually add flour until the dough is slightly sticky.
Shape the dough and add the filling ingredients.
Brush with egg yolk and sprinkle with sesame and nigella seeds.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 25-30 minutes.
