Creamy Sausage and Mushrooms on Fried Bread

Ingredients

  • Tiger chest loaf (sliced)
  • Lambs lettuce
  • 2 Lincolnshire sausages
  • Baby button mushrooms
  • 3 extra light cheese triangles
  • Splash of water
  • Garlic powder
  • Colmans mustard
  • Chives
  • Egg
  • Heinz no added sugar tomato ketchup
  • Mustard

Preparation

  1. Slice and pan-fry the tiger bread until golden brown

  2. Slice the sausages and fry them with baby button mushrooms until cooked through

  3. Melt the cheese triangles with a splash of water, garlic powder, mustard, and chives to create a creamy sauce

  4. Fry an egg to your preferred doneness

  5. Assemble by placing lambs lettuce on the fried bread, topping with the sausage and mushroom mixture, drizzling with the creamy sauce, and adding the fried egg

  6. Serve with tomato ketchup and mustard

Notes

  1. If using toast instead of fried bread, butter it as a fat replacement
