Malaysian Apam Lenggang Pancake

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups rice flour
  • 0.5 cups wheat flour
  • 1.5 teaspoons yeast
  • 7-8 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 egg

Preparation

  1. Mix all ingredients except coconut milk, stir well and let it rest for 2-3 hours.

  2. Add coconut milk and stir again.

  3. Heat the pan and grease it with oil, take one ladle of batter and spread it like making kueh ketayap.

  4. Cover the apam with a pot lid and cook for 2-3 minutes with low heat.

  5. It is ready to eat.
