Next Level Fried Yam Lumpia

Ingredients

  • Finna brand lumpia wrappers
  • 3-4 purple yams
  • sugar
  • sweetened condensed milk
  • economical spread cheese or mozzarella (optional)

Sealing mixture

  • flour
  • water

Preparation

  1. Boil or steam purple yams until soft, then mash them

  2. Mix mashed yams with sugar, sweetened condensed milk, and cheese to create a filling

  3. Wrap the filling in lumpia wrappers and seal the edges with a paste made from flour and water

  4. Fry the wrapped lumpia in hot oil until golden brown and crispy

  5. For freezing, store the wrapped lumpia in the freezer and fry directly when ready to eat
