Roti Jala Lacy Pancake

Ingredients

  • 1 kg wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon tapioca flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tin evaporated milk
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • yellow food coloring
  • water as needed

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients in a container

  2. Whisk until smooth and well mixed

  3. Blend the mixture to ensure smoothness

  4. Pour the batter into a Roti Jala mold or a bottle

  5. Allow the batter to rest for 10 minutes

  6. Cook the batter on a hot griddle to form the net pattern until golden brown

Tips

  1. Adjust the amount of water to achieve a consistency that is not too runny or too thick

  2. Tapioca flour helps prevent the net from breaking easily
