Banana Oat Flour Bake with Date Caramel
Ingredients
- 1 ripe banana
- 1/3 cup oat flour
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tbsp ground flax
- 1/3 cup plant milk
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- Multiple shakes of cinnamon
- Date caramel (for topping)
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Mash the ripe banana in a mixing bowl.
Add oat flour, baking powder, a pinch of salt, ground flax, plant milk, peanut butter, and multiple shakes of cinnamon to the mashed banana.
Mix all the ingredients until evenly combined.
Pour the mixture into a baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
Generously top the mixture with date caramel and spread it over the surface.
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven.
Bake for approximately 20 minutes, or until the bake is cooked through and has a golden-brown appearance.
Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
