Stir-Fried Shimeji Mushrooms with Green Chilies

Ingredients

  • 1 pack white shimeji mushrooms
  • 3 green chilies
  • 3 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Oil as needed

Ground spices

  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 shallots
  • Cooking oil

Preparation

  1. Heat oil, add the ground spices and stir until browned.

  2. Add green chilies, shimeji mushrooms and stir-fry briefly. Then add water, oyster sauce and let it boil.

  3. Once the water reduces slightly and starts to thicken, remove from heat.

  4. The stir-fried shimeji with green chilies is ready to serve.

Notes

  1. Babies can eat mushrooms as long as they show no allergic reactions; after introducing once, wait a few days to check for signs of allergy.

  2. There is no official age limit for introducing mushrooms, but experts suggest starting around 10-12 months.
