Stir-Fried Tempe with Green Chilies
Ingredients
- 250g tempe
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 5 shallots
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 lemongrass stalk
- 6 green chilies (or to taste)
- 1.25 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
- 0.5 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 100ml water
- Salt
- Sugar
- Pepper
- Seasoning, optional
Preparation
Fry the tempe lightly after cubing it and set aside.
Heat the cooking oil in a pan and stir-fry the shallots and garlic.
Add water, bay leaves, lemongrass, green chilies, sweet soy sauce, oyster sauce, salt, sugar, pepper, and seasoning if desired, then cook until the mixture dries out and remove from heat.
