Classic Brazilian Milk Pudding Without Holes
Ingredients
- 6 tablespoons sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 14 ounces whole milk
Preparation
Caramelize a 20 cm (8 inch) tube pan with sugar over medium heat, spreading the sugar to cover the entire interior. Set aside.
In a blender, beat the eggs until foamy. Add the sweetened condensed milk and milk and blend for 1 minute.
Let the mixture rest for 15 minutes to allow the foam to settle, then carefully pour into the caramelized mold without including the foam.
Place the mold in a water bath and cook on the stove or in the oven for about 1 hour, or until the pudding is set.
Let cool, then refrigerate for about 2 hours before unmolding.
