Strawberry Swiss Tart Cookies
Ingredients
- 250g butter
- 1/2 cup icing sugar
- 1 1/2 cups wheat flour
- 1 1/2 cups corn flour
- 1/2 cup crushed corn flakes
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1/2 cup chocolate rice
- Strawberry filling as needed
Preparation
Combine butter, icing sugar, and vanilla essence; stir until well mixed using a wooden spoon.
Add crushed corn flakes, followed by wheat flour and corn flour; mix well until dough forms. If dough is still soft, add a little more wheat flour. Finally, add chocolate rice and mix well.
Use a cookie press mold to shape the dough, pressing slightly in the center with fingers to create space for filling.
Fill a piping bag with strawberry filling, cut the tip, and pipe the filling into the center of each cookie.
Bake for 20 minutes or until done at 180°C using top and bottom heat; adjust temperature according to your oven.
Notes
Oven temperature may vary, so monitor baking closely.
If dough is too soft, additional wheat flour can be added for better consistency.
