Protein Oats with Berries

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup rolled oats (gluten free if required)
  • 1 cup water
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon protein powder
  • 1/2 cup frozen berries
  • 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon nut butter

Preparation

  1. Cook the oats in water and salt, bringing to a boil and simmering for 5-10 minutes.

  2. Add the protein powder.

  3. Top with the frozen berries and nut butter.

Tips

  1. Using berries is a great way to get antioxidants. Frozen berries can be warmed in the microwave, or fresh berries can be used instead.
