Protein Oats with Berries
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup rolled oats (gluten free if required)
- 1 cup water
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon protein powder
- 1/2 cup frozen berries
- 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon nut butter
Preparation
Cook the oats in water and salt, bringing to a boil and simmering for 5-10 minutes.
Add the protein powder.
Top with the frozen berries and nut butter.
Tips
Using berries is a great way to get antioxidants. Frozen berries can be warmed in the microwave, or fresh berries can be used instead.
