Turkish Herbed Potato Fritters
Ingredients
- 500 g potatoes
- 1 egg
- 1.5 cups flour (plus extra for rolling)
- 4 stalks green onion
- 4 stalks dill
- 4 stalks parsley
- 1 heaping tablespoon butter or 3 tablespoons oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Black pepper
- Turmeric
Preparation
Grate the potatoes.
Chop the green onions, dill, and parsley.
In a large bowl, mix the grated potatoes, egg, flour, chopped herbs, salt, black pepper, and turmeric to form a mixture.
Heat the butter or oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
Shape the mixture into patties and fry until golden brown on both sides.
Serve hot.
Notes
The cup measurement used is 200 ml.
