Single Serve Baked Oats

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup rolled oats (can sub for quick/instant oats)
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground flax seed or chia seeds
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp apple sauce
  • 3 tbsp unsweetened soy milk (any plant milk works)

Preparation

  1. Set oven to 350F

  2. Add oats, seeds, spice and baking powder in a food processor and roughly chop oats

  3. Alternatively you can skip the food processor and use quick oats

  4. In a ramekin, add oat mixture, syrup, apple sauce and milky stir to combine and place in the oven

  5. Bake for at least 10 minutes and allow to slightly cool before eating

  6. Top with your favorite fruit and nut butters for added satiety
