Fluffy Banana Pancakes with Hazelnuts and Chocolate Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 banana
- 4 dl oats (gluten free if you want)
- 4 dl soy or other vegan milk
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 0.5 tsp salt
Chocolate sauce
- 4 tbsp water
- 3 tbsp agave or maple syrup
- 2 tbsp cacao
Preparation
Blend the ingredients for the pancake batter in a high speed blender.
Heat a frying pan (optional to add a little bit of oil if needed) and fry the pancakes on medium heat for about 2 minutes per side until golden brown. (I use about 4 tablespoons batter per pancake and make 3 pancakes at a time.)
Make the chocolate sauce: add ingredients to a saucepan, whisk and let it sit on medium heat until it starts to bubble, then remove from heat.
Serve your stack with extra sliced bananas and chopped hazelnuts.
