Warm Coconut Oatmeal with Banana and Spices
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup quick oats
- 1 tbsp ground flax seed
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes
- Pinch cardamom
- 1 banana, mashed
- 1 cup coconut milk (not canned, the beverage)
Preparation
Combine ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a simmer.
Allow oats to cook and thicken for 3 minutes then remove from stove to serve.
