Overnight Matcha Oats

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • pinch of cardamom
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 mashed banana
  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp matcha (depending on how strong you want it)
  • 3/4 cup almond milk

Preparation

  1. Combine everything except banana in a container and mix well

  2. Set in fridge overnight and prior to serving mix in mashed banana

  3. For the apple I just sliced and apple thin and added it to a sauce pan with a tsp of maple syrup

  4. Cooked it until softened, about 3-5 minutes
