Dill and Potato Turkish Pastry
Ingredients
- 125 grams butter
- 1 teacup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 80 grams cream or yogurt
- 1 potato
- 1 bunch dill
- 1 packet baking powder
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 cups flour
Filling
- white cheese
Preparation
Mix all ingredients in a deep bowl to obtain a soft dough.
Make mandarin-sized pieces and open them slightly with your hands, then add cheese inside.
Roll them with your hands and place on a baking tray.
Brush with the reserved egg yolk, optionally sprinkle with sesame seeds, and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius until golden brown on top and bottom.
Remove from the oven and serve.
