Easy Homemade Donuts

Ingredients

  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 packet dry yeast
  • almost 4 cups flour

For frying

  • vegetable oil for frying

For decorating

  • chocolate for decorating (cocoa, milk, white)

Preparation

  1. Pour warm milk and water into a mixing bowl, add sugar and yeast, and wait 2-3 minutes until yeast dissolves.

  2. Add the egg, butter, and flour, and knead into a dough that does not stick to hands.

  3. Let the dough rise for about 1 hour.

  4. Sprinkle flour on a surface and roll out the dough with a rolling pin.

  5. Cut the dough into shapes using a glass, and make a hole in the center with a smaller object.

  6. Place the cut dough on oiled paper and let it rise until puffy.

  7. Fry in hot oil until golden brown, being careful as it browns quickly to avoid burning.

  8. Fry all the donuts and let them cool.

  9. Dip in chocolate melted using the bain-marie method and decorate as desired.
