Indonesian Banana and Sweet Potato Kolak

Ingredients

  • 2 large bananas
  • 2 sweet potatoes
  • 2 pandan leaves, knotted
  • 2 tablespoons grated palm sugar
  • 5 tablespoons white sugar, or to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fiber cream
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 liter water

Preparation

  1. Boil the water, and once it boils, add the sweet potatoes, sugar, salt, and pandan leaves.

  2. After the sweet potatoes are half cooked, add the bananas and let them cook until done.

  3. Add the fiber cream, stir until well mixed, adjust the taste, then remove from heat and serve.
