Instant Pumpkin Pie Oats Breakfast
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup quick oats
- pinch of cinnamon
- pinch of ginger
- pinch of nutmeg
- pinch of salt
- 2-3 tsp pumpkin purée
- 2/3 cup unsweetened almond milk or water
Preparation
In a microwave safe bowl, add 1/2 cup quick oats, a pinch of cinnamon, a pinch of ginger, a pinch of nutmeg, and a pinch of salt.
Add 2-3 teaspoons of pumpkin purée and stir to combine.
Add 2/3 cup unsweetened almond milk or water.
If using microwave, heat for 1-2 minutes. Alternatively, use hot water: add hot water, stir, and let it absorb and thicken for about a minute.
Stir and serve.

Opt for pumpkin spice instead of pumpkin purée to make a pumpkin spice oat bowl.
For sweetness, drizzle with maple syrup or add 1 tsp brown sugar and a little extra cinnamon for easier meal prep.
