Instant Pumpkin Pie Oats Breakfast

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup quick oats
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • pinch of ginger
  • pinch of nutmeg
  • pinch of salt
  • 2-3 tsp pumpkin purée
  • 2/3 cup unsweetened almond milk or water

Preparation

  1. In a microwave safe bowl, add 1/2 cup quick oats, a pinch of cinnamon, a pinch of ginger, a pinch of nutmeg, and a pinch of salt.

  2. Add 2-3 teaspoons of pumpkin purée and stir to combine.

  3. Add 2/3 cup unsweetened almond milk or water.

  4. If using microwave, heat for 1-2 minutes. Alternatively, use hot water: add hot water, stir, and let it absorb and thicken for about a minute.

  5. Stir and serve.

  2. Opt for pumpkin spice instead of pumpkin purée to make a pumpkin spice oat bowl.
