Easy Vanilla Oatmeal Breakfast with Fresh Toppings

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1 tablespoon ground flax seed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of cardamom
  • Pinch of nutmeg (optional)
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup almond milk

Preparation

  1. Add all ingredients to a saucepan and bring to a simmer, stirring to prevent sticking.

  2. Once thickened to desired consistency, remove from heat and serve immediately.

  3. Top with peanut butter, raspberries, blackberries, mango, banana, almonds, and pumpkin seeds.
