Spicy Stir-Fried Squid Rice
Ingredients
- 250 grams fresh squid
- 1 bunch petai beans
- 8 whole red bird's eye chilies
- 5 whole green bird's eye chilies
- 3 green curly chilies
- 1/4 tomato
- 1 teaspoon stock powder
- 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
- A little water
- As needed cooking oil
Spice paste
- 15 red bird's eye chilies (can be reduced)
- 5 red curly chilies
- 5 shallots
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 thumb-sized piece of ginger
- 1 roasted candlenut
Preparation
Heat cooking oil, then sauté the spice paste until fragrant and cooked.
Add petai, green chilies, green bird's eye chilies, and red bird's eye chilies. Stir well.
Add fresh squid, then add water and seasonings. Cook until absorbed and dry.
Check the taste; if it's right, add tomato pieces. Stir and cook briefly. Remove and serve with warm rice.
