Almond Flour Oatmeal with Cinnamon and Chia Seeds

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp almond flour
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 medjool date

Preparation

  1. Add ingredients to a saucepan and bring to a simmer.

  2. Stir and allow to thicken for 5 minutes.

  3. As oats thicken, lightly mash date to spread out evenly into the oats.

  4. Serve and top with extra fruit such as strawberries, blueberries, hemp hearts, roasted buckwheat, cacao nibs, and pepitas.
