Almond Flour Oatmeal with Cinnamon and Chia Seeds
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 tbsp almond flour
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 medjool date
Preparation
Add ingredients to a saucepan and bring to a simmer.
Stir and allow to thicken for 5 minutes.
As oats thicken, lightly mash date to spread out evenly into the oats.
Serve and top with extra fruit such as strawberries, blueberries, hemp hearts, roasted buckwheat, cacao nibs, and pepitas.
