Apple Pie Oatmeal with Cinnamon and Protein

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup gluten-free oats
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tsp coconut sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • a little oil
  • 3 apples
  • plain kefir
  • 2 chopped dates
  • 1 spoonful organic peanut butter
  • small dose of honey
  • granola

Preparation

  1. Heat a little oil in a pan over low-medium heat.

  2. Add sliced apples sprinkled with cinnamon and cook for 5-6 minutes.

  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine 1/2 cup gluten-free oats, 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk, 1 scoop vanilla protein, 1 egg white, 1 tsp coconut sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon, and 1/4 tsp nutmeg.

  4. Microwave the mixture for 3 minutes.

  5. Top the oatmeal with the cooked cinnamon apples, plain kefir, 2 chopped dates, a spoonful of organic peanut butter, a small dose of honey, and granola.

  6. Adding an egg white enhances the fluffy texture of the oats.
