Apple Pie Oatmeal with Cinnamon and Protein
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup gluten-free oats
- 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 scoop vanilla protein
- 1 egg white
- 1 tsp coconut sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- a little oil
- 3 apples
- plain kefir
- 2 chopped dates
- 1 spoonful organic peanut butter
- small dose of honey
- granola
Preparation
Heat a little oil in a pan over low-medium heat.
Add sliced apples sprinkled with cinnamon and cook for 5-6 minutes.
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine 1/2 cup gluten-free oats, 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk, 1 scoop vanilla protein, 1 egg white, 1 tsp coconut sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon, and 1/4 tsp nutmeg.
Microwave the mixture for 3 minutes.
Top the oatmeal with the cooked cinnamon apples, plain kefir, 2 chopped dates, a spoonful of organic peanut butter, a small dose of honey, and granola.
Adding an egg white enhances the fluffy texture of the oats.
