Fancy Salmon Salad with Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 piece salmon
  • 1 tablespoon starch
  • 2 tablespoons corn oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper

Sauce

  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon basil

Vegetables

  • Assortment of vegetables

Preparation

  1. Coat the salmon with starch, salt, and pepper.

  2. Heat the corn oil and butter in a pan and cook the salmon until fully cooked.

  3. In a separate bowl, mix mustard, balsamic vinegar, mayonnaise, salt, oregano, and basil to prepare the sauce.

  4. Wash and chop the assortment of vegetables.

  5. Assemble the salad by combining the vegetables, cooked salmon, and drizzle with the sauce.
