Blender Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups whole milk
- 1 cup 50% cocoa powder
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup oil
- 1 1/2 tablespoons baking powder
Chocolate frosting
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 6 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons unsalted butter
- 4 tablespoons canned cream
Chocolate sauce
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup 50% chocolate (chopped)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 1 teaspoon all-purpose flour or cornstarch
Preparation
Place eggs, milk, sugar, and oil in a blender and blend for 2 minutes
In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder; mix well
Add the blended liquid mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until smooth
Pour the batter into a greased medium baking pan
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 40 minutes
Let the cake cool completely in the pan on a wire rack
In a saucepan, combine milk, chocolate, sugar, butter, and flour (or cornstarch); cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened to a creamy sauce
Remove the sauce from heat and let it cool slightly
Pour the sauce over the cooled cake
Sprinkle with sprinkles to taste
Serve immediately
