Malaysian Ant Nest Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup flour
  • 5 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 3 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 1/3 cup condensed milk

Preparation

  1. Cook sugar until brown on low heat.

  2. Add water gradually when sugar is melted, then turn off heat and let it cool.

  3. Beat eggs until well mixed and add condensed milk.

  4. Add the strained sugar water to the mixture.

  5. Sift flour and baking soda together and add, stir until combined.

  6. Pour the batter into the rice cooker and bake until done, when the warm button changes.
