Healthy Oatmeal Breakfast with Fruits and Seeds

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup quick oats
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 medjool date
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk

Toppings

  • blueberries
  • gooseberries
  • strawberries
  • cacao nibs
  • sprinkle of grain and seed mix from Trader Joe’s

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients into a saucepan and bring to a simmer.

  2. Cook and stir as it thickens for about 3 minutes.

  3. Remove from heat and serve as desired.
