Beef Brisket Rice Bowl
Ingredients
- U.S.-grown long-grain white rice
- Water
- Neutral oil
- Sliced onion
- Thinly-sliced beef
- Brown sugar
- Soy sauce
- Eggs
- Green onion
Preparation
Cook the rice with water according to package directions until fluffy.
Heat neutral oil in a pan over medium heat.
Add sliced onion and sauté until softened.
Add thinly-sliced beef and cook until tender and juicy.
Stir in brown sugar and soy sauce to make a sweet soy sauce, and simmer briefly.
In a separate pan, fry the eggs to your preferred doneness.
Serve the beef mixture over the cooked rice, and garnish with chopped green onion.
