Beef Brisket Rice Bowl

Ingredients

  • U.S.-grown long-grain white rice
  • Water
  • Neutral oil
  • Sliced onion
  • Thinly-sliced beef
  • Brown sugar
  • Soy sauce
  • Eggs
  • Green onion

Preparation

  1. Cook the rice with water according to package directions until fluffy.

  2. Heat neutral oil in a pan over medium heat.

  3. Add sliced onion and sauté until softened.

  4. Add thinly-sliced beef and cook until tender and juicy.

  5. Stir in brown sugar and soy sauce to make a sweet soy sauce, and simmer briefly.

  6. In a separate pan, fry the eggs to your preferred doneness.

  7. Serve the beef mixture over the cooked rice, and garnish with chopped green onion.
