Chicken Steak with Simple Bbq Sauce
Ingredients
Marinade
- 1 pair chicken breast fillets
- 2 heaping tablespoons all-purpose seasoning flour
- UHT milk as needed
Dry coating
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose seasoning flour
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
Bbq sauce
- 1/2 onion, sliced lengthwise
- 5 tablespoons BBQ sauce
- 1 tablespoon tomato sauce
- Salt to taste
- Sugar to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 200ml water
- 1 tablespoon margarine
Accompaniments
- French fries
- Salad (Romaine lettuce, bok choy lettuce, red lettuce, curly endive with roasted sesame sauce)
Preparation
Steak
In a container, sprinkle the chicken fillet with seasoning flour and add UHT milk little by little until it becomes mushy, let it sit for about 30 minutes at room temperature.
Take one fillet, coat it in the dry mixture while pressing until fully covered, then fry until golden brown.
Sauce
Melt margarine and sauté the onion until fragrant.
Add BBQ sauce and tomato sauce, stir well.
Add water, salt, sugar, and black pepper, then cook until the sauce thickens.
Assembly
Arrange french fries, chicken steak, and salad on a plate, pour the sauce over, and serve immediately.
