Fluffy Golden Orange Cake Like Grandma's
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup orange juice
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
Preparation
Sift the all-purpose flour into a bowl to avoid lumps, then add the baking powder and set aside
In a blender, beat the eggs until air bubbles form, then add the oil and sugar while blending
Pour the egg mixture and orange juice over the flour mixture
Gently mix until well combined, then pour into a greased and floured pan
Bake in a preheated medium oven at 200Β°C for about 40 minutes or until golden
Tips
If serving immediately, squeeze a large orange over the warm cake for a moist texture
