Skillet Apple Crisp for a Sweet Monday
Ingredients
Apple mixture
- 4 medium apples
- 2 tbsp coconut sugar
- 2 tsp apple pie spice
Crisp topping
- 1 cup oat flour
- 1/3 cup coconut sugar
- 1/3 cup coconut oil
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
Preparation
Heat a little butter or ghee in a cast iron skillet. Add the apple mixture and sauté for 6-8 minutes on low heat.
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Add the crust mixture evenly on top of the apples. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Let it cool and top with ice cream of choice and a manuka honey drizzle.
