Skillet Apple Crisp for a Sweet Monday

Ingredients

Apple mixture

  • 4 medium apples
  • 2 tbsp coconut sugar
  • 2 tsp apple pie spice

Crisp topping

  • 1 cup oat flour
  • 1/3 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Preparation

  1. Heat a little butter or ghee in a cast iron skillet. Add the apple mixture and sauté for 6-8 minutes on low heat.

  2. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

  3. Add the crust mixture evenly on top of the apples. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Let it cool and top with ice cream of choice and a manuka honey drizzle.
