Creamy Stovetop Oats with Caramelized Banana
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup gluten free oats
- 1 tbsp chia seeds and/or 1 tbsp ground flax seeds
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon + a pinch of salt
- 1 cup milk of choice
- 1-2 scoops vanilla protein of choice
Toppings
- Caramelized banana
- Raspberry
- Peanut butter
- Granola
- Cinnamon
Preparation
Combine all ingredients for the oats in a pot.
Bring to almost a boil, then immediately reduce heat to simmer.
Stir frequently until thick and creamy.
Toppings prep
Slice bananas and cook in a pan with butter and sugar until golden brown to make caramelized banana.
Assemble the bowl by adding the cooked oats and toppings: caramelized banana, raspberry, peanut butter, granola, and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
