Tasty Maca Oats for a Nutritious Breakfast

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tsp flax seed
  • 2 tsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 tsp maca powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1 cup almond milk

Preparation

  1. Combine all dry ingredients in a saucepan and mix evenly.

  2. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a simmer on the stovetop.

  3. Stir as it thickens for about 3-5 minutes then remove from stove.

  4. Serve immediately with fruit of choice, seeds, and nut butter.
