Tasty Maca Oats for a Nutritious Breakfast
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 tsp flax seed
- 2 tsp maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1 tsp maca powder
- Pinch of salt
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
- 1 cup almond milk
Preparation
Combine all dry ingredients in a saucepan and mix evenly.
Add remaining ingredients and bring to a simmer on the stovetop.
Stir as it thickens for about 3-5 minutes then remove from stove.
Serve immediately with fruit of choice, seeds, and nut butter.
