Creamy Coconut and Cardamom Steel Cut Oats
Ingredients
- 1 cup steel cut oats
- 2 tbsp ground flaxseed
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground cardamom
- 2 tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes
- 1 tbsp maple syrup or 1-2 medjool dates
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3 cups almond coconut milk
- 1 banana
Preparation
Add all ingredients to the Instant Pot
Close the lid and seal the pressure cooker
Set to manual pressure for 2 minutes
Allow pressure to release naturally
Open the pressure cooker and stir well to combine
Stovetop method
Add all ingredients to a saucepan and bring to a low simmer
Cover and cook for 25-30 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking
