Berry Infused Oats with Flaxseed and Yogurt
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup oats
- 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
- 3/4 cup hot water
- 1 cup thawed frozen berries
- unsweetened almond yogurt
Preparation
Set out 1 cup frozen berries to thaw.
Mix the oats and flaxseed together.
Heat 3/4 cup water in the microwave for about 2 minutes.
Carefully pour the hot water over the oats mixture.
Cover the bowl with a plate and let it sit for at least 30 minutes or more.
Mix in 1/4 cup of the thawed frozen berries to add color.
Top with the remaining berries and drizzle with unsweetened almond yogurt, which might be messy.
