Cinnamon Oatmeal with Fresh Toppings

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk

Toppings

  • Blueberries
  • Gooseberries
  • Banana
  • Pumpkin seeds
  • Peanut butter
  • Cacao nibs

Preparation

  1. Add the oats, banana, cinnamon, salt, flax seeds, and milk to a saucepan.

  2. Bring to a simmer on low to medium heat.

  3. Allow to heat through and thicken for 3 minutes.

  4. Remove from stove.

  5. Top with blueberries, gooseberries, banana, pumpkin seeds, peanut butter, and cacao nibs
