Granola Egg Breakfast Topping

Ingredients

  • 1 Barebells protein bar
  • 30 g chopped almonds
  • 30 g chopped pistachios
  • 10 g chia seeds
  • 70 g oat flakes
  • 70 g date syrup
  • 1.5 tablespoons coconut oil

Preparation

  1. Roast the almonds, pistachios, chia seeds, and oat flakes dry in a coated pan until golden brown. Remove the pan from the heat.

  2. Finely chop a Barebells protein bar and stir it in.

  3. Add the date syrup and stir well until distributed, then add the coconut oil. Stir again until the oil is fully incorporated.

  4. Shape the warm mixture into egg shapes using your hands. Silicone molds can be used if available.

  5. Allow to harden in the refrigerator. Optionally, dip in chocolate for decoration.

  6. Crumble the granola egg over your preferred muesli to serve.

Tips

  1. This granola egg adds extra crunch to muesli, yogurt, or smoothie bowls and is a great option for Easter or any spring breakfast.
